Things to see and do near Porthoustock

If you're planning a visit to Porthoustock, you'll find that there are plenty of things to see and do in the surrounding area. Here are just a few ideas to help you make the most of your trip.

  • Visit the Land's End – Land's End is a spectacular place to visit, offering beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It's the most westerly point in mainland England.
  • Enjoy Kynance Cove – Kynance Cove is a stunning beach with crystal clear waters and white sand. It's surrounded by dramatic cliffs and offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, snorkelling, and kayaking.
  • Take a Boat Trip – Porthoustock is the perfect spot to take a boat trip, allowing you to explore the coast and see some of Cornwall's best attractions such as the Minack Theatre and Gurnard's Head.
  • Explore St.Michael's Mount – St.Michael's Mount is an iconic landmark located just a few miles from Porthoustock. It's a castle that is connected to the mainland by a causeway at low tide.
  • Visit the Tate Gallery – The Tate Gallery in St. Ives is the perfect place to explore and appreciate the art of the area. It's one of the best galleries in the UK, and you can find a wide range of traditional and contemporary art.
  • Go Surfing – Porthoustock is the perfect spot for surfers, with consistent waves, plenty of beach breaks and point breaks.
  • Check Out Godrevy Lighthouse – Godrevy Lighthouse is one of the most iconic spots in Cornwall and is located on the tip of a dramatic headland. It's a popular spot for photographers and a great place to take in the views of the Atlantic Ocean.
